Situated in the shopping Central Interlaken district, a mere 1.5 km from the Sporthalle Bodelibad, the 3-star smoke-free Hotel Toscana Interlaken boasts a sun deck, a shared lounge, and a golf course. The hotel is located in the centre of Interlaken in a skiing area, around 5 minutes' walk from Hoheweg. The Bodeli Ice Sports Centre is within reach of the Toscana Interlaken and Belp airport is 55 km away. Guests might as well enjoy proximity to Englischer Garten, situated approximately 1 km away. The property will also take you to Unspunnen Ruined Castle, which is about a 10-minute drive away. There is Jungfraustrasse bus stop just a few steps from the hotel.

During my recent stay at Hotel Toscana in Interlaken over Christmas, I found myself torn between the hotel's promising location and its less-than-stellar execution. Nestled in the pedestrianized center next to the lively Höhematte park, it offers a prime spot to explore the stunning backdrop of the Alps. Plus, with skiing options galore and vibrant area activities, there is no shortage of outdoor adventures at your doorstep. While the room was clean with all the necessary amenities-like a flat-screen TV with over 300 channels and a lovely balcony to take in the festive atmosphere-I couldn't help but feel that the charm of the building was overshadowed by the indifferent service. The staff seemed too caught up in their games to lend a hand, which was disappointing given the potential that this establishment holds. On a brighter note, my travel companions and I enjoyed the convenience of the hotel's two restaurants and easy access to the areas buzzing with winter festivities. Though I left the hotel with mixed feelings, I must admit that the stunning locales and the overall ambiance of Interlaken redeemed the experience somewhat. If only the service could catch up with the amazing surroundings!
